Well known children’s poet inspires Year 5 and 6.

On Tuesday 5th November, award-winning author Andy Stanton, writer of the Mr Gum books, visited pupils in years 3 and 4 to speak to the children about his new book: 'Paninis of Pompeii'.
Our Year 6 pupils put on a performance that the audience will never forget as part of their momentous end of primary school celebrations. On Tuesday 16th July they performed their own version of the 1970’s gangster spoof classic, Bugsy Malone.
In June, four lucky children had the amazing opportunity to represent the Harrogate Book Group at the Children’s Book Awards, the only national book award based solely on votes from children.
